The mission of the Stewardship ministry team is to lead the Disciples of Christ at Trinity to be active and faithful stewards of their time, talent and treasure.
Faithful stewards are aware of the need to give willingly of themselves. There are several ways a steward can give at Trinity: regularly worshipping, volunteering to use their talents to benefit others, giving of their time (see other ministry team pages for opportunities), and offering to share their treasure with Trinity.
As a ministry team, Stewardship regularly presents these opportunities to the Disciples at Trinity. We accomplish this with an annual fall drive consisting of mailings, pledge cards and short messages during the services. We also keep this message before Trinity in the monthly pictures in the Tidings which show Disciples being faithful stewards every day of their time, talent and treasure.
We are a small team but we are highly effective. We meet as a team once a month December through August. During September, October, and November, we meet more frequently to plan and implement our annual gathering of pledges.
If you would like to join us, we meet on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM in the fellowship hall.
