CALENDER OF EVENTS FOR TRINITY’S 150TH ANNIVERSARY

SUNDAY, JANUARY 20, 2008:  “Barbary Coast Dixieland Band” will perform at both services.  Pastor Rob Englund (former interim pastor) will preach. 

SUNDAY, APRIL 20, 2008:  “Swedish Institute Men’s Choir” will perform at both services.  Darrel Diers will speak at both services. 

SUNDAY, APRIL 27, 2008:  150 “Trees in a Bag” will be given to Sunday School children and church members to be planted by them in honor of Trinity’s 150 years.

SUNDAY, MAY 11, 2008:  Pastor Chris Beckman (son of the congregation) will preach at morning services. 

SUNDAY, MAY 18, 2008:  7:00 pm – “Augsburg Centennial Singers” concert

SUNDAY, JUNE 1, 2008:  Michelle Robinette of “Robin’s Nest” will speak at both services. 

SUNDAY, JUNE 8, 2008:  “Spirit Bound” multigenerational musical group from Eagan will perform at both services. 

SATURDAY, JUNE 21, 2008: Swedish group, “Broderna Truck Orchestra” concert, 7:00 PM.  Ice cream to follow.   

SUNDAY, JUNE 22, 2008:  “Cemetery Walk” held from 10:30 to 1:00.  Participants register in Fellowship Hall (no charge).  Displays in Fellowship Hall of church artifacts and memorabilia, with Swedish treats served beginning at 10:30.  The tour will take approximately 45 minutes to complete, with new groups beginning every half hour.  Nine persons will be depicted during the walk. 

SATURDAY, JULY 19, 2008: “Rails to Trails” 5K run/walk, and kids’ half-mile run.  
Fund raiser for “Robin’s Nest Children’s Home”.   Our oldest members, Evelyn Swanson and Willie Tuvey, will ride in a vehicle in the parade.  

SUNDAY, JULY 27, 2008:  Pastor Charles Humphrey- guest speaker at morning services, 8:30 and 10:00 AM.  “Lumber River Quartet” concert, 7:00 PM.  Ice cream to follow.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 17, 2008:  Pastor David Baker (son of the congregation) – guest speaker at morning services, 8:30 and 10:00 AM.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2008:  Pastor Marvin Palmquist – guest speaker at morning services, 8:15 and 10:30 AM.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2008: “Homecoming” banquet at W-M High School followed by “Land of Lakes Choirboys” concert in the Fine Arts Center.  Social hour at 4:00 – dinner at 5:00 and concert at 7:00 PM

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2008:  “Anniversary Sunday”.  Bishop Craig Johnson will speak at both services.
