Trinity is Planning a Trip to Holden Village

Holden Village is a place of spiritual renewal, community, learning, and outdoor recreation for adults and families in the North Cascade Mountains of Washington State. Over the last 50 years, this 'place apart' has been transformed from a copper mining town to a vibrant place of learning, recreation, and worship. Holden welcomes all people who seek contemplation and community to visit and experience this journey of faith.

Saturday, August 4 - Thursday, August 9, 2018

$325 / per adult (for a 5- night stay)

The cost of our stay at Holden Village will be approximately $325 / adult guest. This is the Group Rate and as long as our registered number does not fall below the required 15 guests (all arriving and departing the same day with a 5-night minimum stay), we will maintain this Group Rate.

How to Get to Holden:

Holden Village is located in north central Washington in a remote wilderness area. The Town of Chelan, Washington is the closest community, but no roads connect it to the Village. Getting to Holden includes a scenic two-to-four-hour boat ride on Lake Chelan and a 40 minute ride in a Holden bus to reach the Village.

Due to varying travel preferences, Trinity has decided that travel arrangements to and from Chelan, Washington will be “on your own”. You decide on and arrange your own travel to Chelen and meet the group at the Chelan Boat Company dock on Saturday, July 28 (time TBD) for the final leg to Holden Village together.

There are several options available for traveling to Chelan, Washington, including by plane, Amtrak train or automobile. For more specific information on these options, visit

Since the boat to Holden leaves early in the morning, most people arrive in Chelan a day prior to their arrival in the Village. We suggest staying in the Holden Village Bed & Breakfast on the night prior to the boat departure. Visit for more information.

Please Note: All transportation arrangements to and from Holden Village and your accommodations the night prior to the boat ride, will be additional costs to your Holden Village trip. You will be responsible for booking additional accommodations (at Holden Village B&B or another hotel) and reserving your ferry tickets through Chelan Boat Company
