Trinity has a variety of Small Groups that gather together around shared interests, common goals, and service projects. By getting together with others, relationships are built, life is shared, and faith grows. Below is a list of our current groups that gather. Take a look and see if there is a connection to be made!
If contact information for a small group is not listed in the description below, please contact the church office at 952-955-1891 or email@example.com for more information.
The Trinity Quilting Ministry gathers each Tuesday morning at 9:00 am in Nylunda Chapel. Handmade quilts are lovingly created throughout the year for many groups, including Love INC, the Friends for Life Foodshelf, various benefits and quilt auctions. Trinity’s graduating high school seniors and all who are baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church receive a quilt as a symbol of being wrapped in the warmth of God’s love. All are welcome to join this ministry on a weekly or drop in basis.
Contact Gail Sommerfeld, 612-518-2000 to learn more about the quilting ministry at Trinity.
OWLS (Older, Wiser Lutherans)
Trinity's OWLS (Older, Wiser Lutherans) Fellowship Group meets on the third Thursday of the month for a variety of activities and events to relax, socialize and enjoy Christian fellowship with one another. We are intentionally excluding an age minimum for this group. We will leave it up to you to determine if you fall into the “older” and/or “wiser” categories and invite all to attend these Lutheran fellowship gatherings.
Visit our UPCOMING EVENTS page for details on OWLS gatherings.
The Apostles are a group who are dedicated to sharing their time and talents to conquer light maintenance projects inside and outside the church building and the parsonage. A warm welcome is extended to anyone interested in lending a hand. There is always plenty to do! The Apostles meet at 8:30 am on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month in the Fellowship Hall.
Trinity's Heavenly Housekeepers meet every fourth Thursday of the month at 9:00 am to complete light housekeeping duties around the church to keep it looking great. Many hands make light work for all. Plus housekeeping with a group is much more fun than doing it on your own!
Contact Eileen Nelson, 952-955-1491 to learn more about the Heavenly Housekeepers.
Trinity Book Club
The Trinity Book Club gathers to discuss books that are chosen from suggestions by the group. New readers are always welcome; one does not need to be a member at Trinity to join the group. All are invited to join us for fellowship and engaging conversation each month.
Email Diane Johnson to be added to the Trinity Book Club email notification list.
